E. Thomas, Willett, PT, EdM
Licensed Physical Therapist
Tom has over 30 years of experience in physical therapy and rehab. He received a BS in Physical Therapy from SUNY @ Buffalo, an M.ED., from BU, and a BA from Assumption College. Tom is also certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations. He is an active member of the orthopedic section & private practice section of APTA. Tom has an extensive background and experience working with musculoskeletal issues from sports injuries and has been affiliated with the Worcester Rugby Club for 25 years. Tom has directed, managed and practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, including, home health agencies, nursing homes, schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics and industrial sites. Currently, Tom acts as director of WPTS, Inc. and manages the Industrial Rehab program at WPTS, Inc.
Philosophy
There is an athlete in each of us. We strive to help people recover quickly and safely from a variety of musculoskeletal deficiencies. Our mission is to successfully blend rehabilitation with fitness and wellness.
Patti Delage, PT

Patti-FINAL-150x150Patti is a 1986 graduate of Umass Lowell. She has 25 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.  It is her belief that each patient is their own unique puzzle and each puzzle needs an individual treatment program designed specifically for them.

Patti has strong manual therapy skills including massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Pattie has been a dedicated and valuable member of our WPTS team for the past 13 years.

Matthew Harrison, DPT

Matt-H-final-150x150Matthew Harrison graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  He would later graduate with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2010.  Matthew began working at Worcester Physical Therapy in October of 2010.  His treatment specialties include joint mobilization, myofascial release techniques, and therapeutic, rehabilitative exercise.  Outside of Worcester Physical Therapy Matthew is an avid golfer and is manager/player for the Worcester Physical Therapy Softball Team.

Jimmy Kakouris, DPT, CSCS

Jimmy-FINAL-150x150Jimmy has received a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University, a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University, and his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College.  He has a published thesis relating to the Evaluation, Management, and Treatment of Lateral Ankle Sprains.  He has been a licensed PT since 2005 and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  He has worked in a variety of settings as a traveling physical therapist and staff therapist including in-patient, out-patient, and home health settings.  Jimmy has significant experience working with patients with neurological, vestibular, and orthopedic impairments.

Lisa Almstrom, PTA

Lisa-final-150x150Lisa is a 1987 graduate from Becker College. She has worked in various settings, including outpatient, work hardening, sub-acute, long-term rehabilitation and chiropractic offices. She has been a part of the WPTS family for 6 years.  She was also an employee of the Worcester Public School system working with children having various diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Disorders and low muscle tone.

Deborah Bonin, PTA

Deb-FINAL-150x150Debbie holds an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from Becker College in Worcester and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health & Physical Education from the University of Dayton in Ohio.  Debbie has been a member of the WPTS since 2005. Prior to joining, she worked as a PTA at Umass Memorial Hahnemann Campus in the Transitional Care Center. Debbie’s background as a high school teacher of health & physical education includes coaching gymnastics, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, tennis, track & field and waterskiing. She is also the proud mother of three grown children.

Chad Coporale, M.S., LATC, CSCS

Chad-final-150x150Chad is a licensed Athletic Trainer. His qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Physical Education along with two Bachelor Degrees in both Physical Education and Athletic Training.  He is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and has several years of experience in Athletic Training and sports rehabilitation with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.  Chad is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist. Chad is currently the head athletic trainer at St. John’s High School.

Dave Abraham, M.S., LATC, CSCS

Dave-Abraham-FINAL-150x150Dave is a licensed Athletic Trainer as well as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Health Science from Worcester State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Northeastern University.  Prior to Joining WPTS Inc. Dave was the head Athletic Trainer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for 17 years and most recently spent 7 years in Major League Baseball with the Toronto Blue Jay’s organization.

Ross Beaudette, PTA, CSCS

Ross-FINAL-150x150Ross has received a Bachelor degree in history/education from Worcester State University as well as an Associate’s degree from the New England Institute of technology.  Ross is a licensed physical therapy assistant and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Ross is also a certified personal trainer.

Dave Elliot, PTA

Dave-Elliot-FINAL-150x150Dave is a licensed physical therapy assistant who graduated from Bay State College in 1996.  With almost 20 years of clinical experience, Dave specializes in Sport’s Medicine, Neuro Re-habilitation, and Sport Specific Training.  Dave is also a clinical educator for nearby Collegiate Physical Therapy Programs; mentoring students for sometimes up to 8 weeks.  He also has 4 years of experience teaching in the Physical Therapy program at South Texas College.  Dave has received additional training in the graston technique, myofascial and trigger point therapy, advanced manual techniques, and custom orthodics.
